Right To Food
We are thankful to Right To Food for generously supporting The Local Community Food Centre with annual funding. We are excited to offer additional older adult cooking classes in 2026 – 2028 through a special grant provided by Right To Food.
United Way
Through United Way Impact Funding we can provide the Nourish Market and continue the Community Connections Programs for the next three years (2026-2029).
City of Stratford
We are pleased to operate the Oak Street Farm program on municipal land in partnership with The City of Stratford. Our important work providing fresh produce and teaching growing skills is further supported by a Stratford Community Grant in 2026-2027.
Stratford and Perth County Community Foundation
Generously funded by the Paul and Anne Lake Fund and the John and Jill Skinner Family Fund, we are thankful to the Stratford and Perth County Community Foundation for supporting our Community Meal program in 2026.
Government of Canada
2026-2027 will see significant improvements to our Stratford Access Market thanks to funding from the Government of Canada, Reaching Homes program, administered by United Way Simcoe Muskoka.
We are excited to host a Smart and Safe Workshop series for seniors and a herb and flower garden project to support our meals and markets in 2026-2027, with funding through a grant from the Government of Canada New Horizons for Seniors Program.
