The crowd was very impressed when Cindy, the Strudel Meister, and I stretched out the dough for this dessert at the 60+ Lunch.  If you’ve never made your own strudel dough, it’s worth a try as it can be a lot of fun to stretch.  If you’d rather, you can use store bought phyllo dough in place of the strudel dough.  You’ll just have to layer buttered sheets to get a piece as wide as the strudel dough in this recipe.
