Stromboli is typically eaten for lunch.  It’s basically a collection of sandwich fillings wrapped in pizza dough and baked.  More typical versions might be filled with salami or other sliced meats with cheeses, pickles, and condiments.   It also makes a great breakfast stuffed with fresh tomatoes, herbs, cheese and scrambled eggs.  Feel free to add your own selection of veggies, or some cooked sausage to the filling.
