The Local operates with a small staff and over 100 dedicated volunteers who donate over 6,000 hours every year. This represents the equivalent of three full-time employees, but the impact of our volunteers extends even further as their many hands shape and strengthen what we do.

Many community members begin by being a participant in a program and then choose to remain as part of the volunteer team.
The Local values the partnerships, collaboration, and cooperation with numerous agencies and service providers throughout Perth County, including Childrens Aid, Ontario Works, Social Services, Shelterlink, Connection Centre, OneCare, the medical community and public health which strengthens the impact that we can all have by working together.
