This cake turns out deliciously dark and sticky.  You can adjust the spices to suit what you have on hand.  It uses a lot of blackstrap molasses which is a fantastic, mineral dense sweetener and the final product turns out so dark, tasty, and sticky that no one will notice that you used whole wheat flour.  We’ve had a lot of requests for this recipe so I’m glad we can finally share it.
